Established in 1988, Rajasthan State Centre of National Informatics Centre has been instrumental in bringing ICT culture in Rajasthan government with a focus on building IT interfaces to facilitate citizen-friendly and transparent government. NIC has made significant contributions in improving service delivery by a number of departments including: District administration, Finance, Health, Education, Elections, Revenue, Social Welfare, Food & Civil Supplies, Prisons, Agriculture, Industry, Rural Development & Courts. NIC-Rajasthan has offices at state and district levels within government complexes so as to have a very close coordination with the government.
